Next Site(s) go Live with EasyXMS

Today 2 Sites went live with EasyXMS. A german production company decided to use EasyXMS because of its features for maintaining several Websites in one Content Management System.

If you like to see them point your browser to:

www.ettlich-film.de or www.die-neumanns.de

One Thing to mention is also, that the current Sites do not use the static cache option.

It just isnt necessary as the delivery is fast enough. Even faster as Joomla runs with all caching options turned on.

The first Website that implements EasyXMS and BlogCFC together is the "freiland initiative".

I made some efforts so the customer may add Titles and formatting with a simple click.

EasyXMS now integrates BlogCFC (by Raymond Camden) Version: 5.9.6.003.

BlogCFC therefor was split into two parts: Webroot part and templates part. In Webroot are located styles, settings and images, in Templates is the logic.

Also the "org" part is at the moment in webroot although you find there the kernel of BlogCFC. I did not want to change too much of the sources. Maybe Raymond has an idea if I get a feedback from him.

If you need installation help or have other questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Screen:

Next step: Integrating Galleon ColdFusion Forums.

Then I want to merge EasyXMS Security with both: Forum and Blog.

Cheers Oliver

EasyXMS Performance Results / Added ehcache

EasyXMS Stores its cache now with EHCache (thanks to: http://cfehcache.riaforge.org/).

Performance with EHCache:

100 concurrent Users now on my notebook without a big problem (Tests with JMeter).

Rendering Pages within 0,002 Seconds (when I can trust Railo Statistics) (Cached all).

Without EHCache:

Rendering full dynamic pages on a medium complex Site within 0,2 Seconds (Parts of Database Results Cached).

Without any Cache (after a flush):

Rendering within 0,4 - 0,6 seconds

Website Start / Restart:

1,5 - 2 seconds.

Cool :D
